    Privacy policy

    How Frontier Amino handles information collected through this site.

    Information collected

    Two categories of information are collected. (1) Information you provide: the email address you enter in the reference-update form, together with your explicit confirmation that you are 18 or older and inquiring for laboratory research purposes, the page you submitted from, and any campaign parameters in the URL. (2) Information collected automatically: page URL and path, referring URL, browser user agent, IP address (used for approximate country and rate limiting), and campaign or click identifiers such as utm_source, utm_campaign and fbclid.

    Advertising and analytics — Meta pixel

    This site can load the Meta (Facebook) advertising pixel to measure the performance of advertising. The pixel records page views, views of individual compound reference pages (identified by their URL slug), submissions of the reference-update form, and clicks on the outbound link to our supplier catalog. If your request reaches us from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Canada, the pixel does not load at all unless you press Accept on the consent banner; that region check is performed on our servers from the country code supplied by our network provider. Your choice is stored locally in your browser and can be reset by clearing site data. Where the banner is not shown, the pixel loads under legitimate-interest advertising measurement and you may block it with any standard content blocker or browser tracking-protection setting.

    Server-side forwarding (Conversions API)

    The same four events are also sent to Meta directly from our backend using Meta's Conversions API. Each browser event and its server counterpart carry an identical random event identifier so Meta discards the duplicate and counts the action once. The server-side message contains the event name, the time, the page URL, the destination or compound slug involved, your IP address and user agent, and Meta's own first-party cookie values (_fbp, _fbc) when present. If the event relates to a form submission, your email address is irreversibly hashed with SHA-256 before it is transmitted. We never send Meta a raw email address, name, telephone number or postal address. Server-side forwarding runs only when the browser pixel is permitted, so declining the banner stops both.

    Email list

    If you submit the form, your email address, the consent timestamp, the source page, and campaign parameters are stored in our database and forwarded to Omnisend, our email service provider, which sends occasional notices about batch documentation updates and new reference entries. No advertising incentive, discount, or purchase is attached to the list. Every message includes an unsubscribe link, and you may also request removal by email; unsubscribing deletes the address from the sending platform.

    Third parties who receive data

    Meta Platforms, Inc. (advertising measurement, as described above), Omnisend (email delivery), Supabase (database and application backend), and Cloudflare (content delivery and network protection). We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising beyond the Meta measurement described here. Data may be processed in the United States.

    Retention

    Email addresses and consent records are kept while the address remains subscribed and for twenty-four months afterwards for proof of consent. Click and event logs are kept for twenty-four months in aggregate campaign form. Meta's retention of the data it receives is governed by Meta's own data policy.

    Your choices and rights

    You can decline or later withdraw analytics consent (clear this site's data in your browser to be shown the banner again), unsubscribe from email at any time, and request access to, correction of, or deletion of the information we hold about you. Residents of the EEA, the UK, Canada and US states with comprehensive privacy laws may exercise the rights those laws grant, including objecting to advertising measurement. We respond to verified requests within thirty days.

    Children

    This site is intended for research professionals. It is not directed at anyone under 18, and the reference-update form requires an explicit confirmation of age. We do not knowingly collect information from minors.
